“This was perfect for our family of 3! Our 4.5yo son had a blast running around and playing with all the animals. He loved the longhorns the most, and he is now obsessed with them! The property looks exactly as it does in the pictures, and the beds were so comfortable! Erik was easy to communicate with, and he even let us have a late checkout! Due to some high winds and a bad thunderstorm, we didn’t get to really use the rooftop deck, but we did go up to check it out. The view from up there is……

“We enjoyed staying here, but our dog Bailey loved it. She watched the sheep intently through the fence. The house was very quiet and well stocked. The breakfast fixings were really appreciated. ”

“This home is beautiful, spotless, comfortable & private. The large deck out back is perfect. We saw several deer, morning & evenings, squirrels, lizards, hummingbirds, cardinals, a lg fox and even a wild pig. Everything we needed and then some was provided. This was a much needed trip & the host did not disappoint! Thank you for sharing this home with us, we did not want to leave.”

“Nice, quiet place to get away and not too far from town. Loved the hammocks and nearby fishing. ”

“My mom and I took our two pups to the Winecup cabin at Rivers Edge Cottages. It was a very relaxing, peaceful time. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend getaway. The pavilion was nice to sit by the fire pits and I could see games provided, although we didn’t play them.A bit of a drive to town but not to far to enjoy Fredricksburg. We enjoyed the Augusta winery nearby very much. We would stay here again. ”

“Great home and just enough space for our family. Far enough away from town to enjoy the countryside, but close enough to enjoy time at Fredricksberg. ”

“We reserved this place specifically because it had a private hot tub. After paying 4x the normal nightly rate because we stayed during the eclipse, the private hot tub never worked. We tried it the first night and it did not work but so decided to try it again in the morning when we could see the controls better. I then spent most of my day texting back and forth with the property management company, Cozi Rental, while I was trying to enjoy the eclipse event. After several troubleshooting tips……

“Our stay in the Bluebonnet cabin was great. The property management company responded via promptly and handled everything we requested. The area was very quiet and peaceful. The cabins are close together, and the view from the porch looked directly at the back of the cabin in front of us, which was a bit disappointing. The location is close enough to town for easy access but far enough away to escape the crowds. ”
