“Good stay at the Pear Tree Inn! Staff were great, calling me as I was arriving late and sending across a AVT invoice quickly (as there is no one there on checkout)! There is no hairdryer in the room - I didn’t realise this until the morning and there was no one downstairs to ask! ”

“登記入住時前台的女員工態度傲慢，很像不歡迎我們一樣。房間裏床單有黑色的污漬，牆上佈滿蜘蛛網，椅子夾縫還有些爆米花碎。這個集團其他酒店我也住過，但這一間是最差的，我明白一間有些歷史的洒店當然會殘舊一點，但也要保持乾淨呀!還有停車位不夠，晚點回去已沒有位置可停車，你只能泊在外面住宅區的路邊。”

“We enjoyed staying at the Brocket Arms for weekend. The room was clean and comfortable and equipped with what we needed (kettle, water, wardrobe and desk/dressing table as well as TV and en suite shower room). The room was modern but retained its 16th century character with exposed beams in the bedroom. We especially enjoyed the food which was high quality, well cooked 'pub fayre' (steak, sausage and mash, fish and chips and a good selection of 'proper' puddings) and breakfast was excellent too.……

“A good budget hotel near St Albans. The room is small but clean. Facilities are new and tidy. Not much choice for breakfast but good for the option for taken away.”
