“Check-in was a nightmare. The apartment was simply that. Special instructions had no phone number, so we couldn't contact proprietors. “We were in the area to do some family history research. Ariano Irpino was an excellent base, and Hotel Biffy was a great place to lay down our heads at the end of the day. “This hotel was not my first choice. It was the only place with accommodation during the period of my visit. Expedia and the hotel web site state check-in is at or after 4:30PM.
