“My husband and I had a very nice stay in Corning. The house was great, very clean and had everything we needed. It was a nice walk to the museum. Don had some great recommendations where to eat. We were not disappointed. Looking forward to coming again.”

“It’s an apt above a barn, the view was great but the sulfur smell from the well water was pretty intense. Felt like I was back in an apt in Paris. But over all it was a great stay. Thank you for the quick response when we didn’t know how to change the temperature on the thermostat. ”

“This was a quaint property in the Finger Lakes region. It was clean, there was coffee, towels, toiletries and everything one would need for a long weekend getaway in an area with beautiful scenery and close to nice museums The Rockwell and Corning Museum of Glass. I felt the temperature should have been adjusted to a comfortable level for check-in, but it did heat up quickly. Me and "guest" had a great time :) ”

“We had a great time in this charming little town. The apartment was also full of charm and very clean. The Wagner Restaurant has the best breakfast with a small town diner feel - we ate their every morning for breakfast. We all loved everything about our stay and if we decide to go back we'll definitely stay at the Sheridan House again.”

“Went during a very cold time in upstate NY.Entered the residence and there was no heat. It was 58 degrees...if the old thermostat was correct.Communicated with host ,waited an hour with our coats on. They did get someone out and it was supposedly fixed....but we had already left, after waiting an hour, for a local hotel. Here is why...1) just looking at the original thermostat to the older home made us not so confident that we would continue to have heat all night. 2) there were 2 window air……

“Perfect place to stay in Penn Yan. The wine bar below is a gem! Couple that owns it is lovely and food, drinks and service was great! Definitely make a reservation for brunch! The only little down side of this place was the steep steps to carry up luggage. We underestimated the time to take our luggage down and around back to the car. It was lovely place to stay. Highly reccomend!”

“This rental was perfect for our trip to NY. We were in walking distance to the Corning Museum of Glass and restaurants. It was a short drive to Watkins Glen where we had a great hike on the trails. Easy check in/out. Responsive host. Overall a good time. ”
