“Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.”
“This is the rare 5-star B&B that actually earns its rating. The house is a beautiful, art filled home where attention is paid to every detail. The host and hostess are lovely and their entire focus is on making their guests' stay comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and abundant. I am actually hard to please, so this is truly a rave review. Many thanks to Olivia and Michael.”
“The Laindons B&B offers an amazing experience. The room was very spacious and comfortable and our hosts had thought of everything a guest could possibly need and more. The included breakfast was wonderful home cooking and the owners are incredible, being engaging and extremely considerate. I will absolutely return to Hastings and when I do will only consider staying at the Laindons. I cannot imagine finding better.”
“Excellent location.
Given a warm and informative welcome on arrival.
Room clean, toiletries and drink making equipment in situ.
Comfortable bed and sufficient pillows and linen,
Great to have a fridge in the room and milk for beverages.
Breakfast was of a high standard and plenty of choice.
Enjoyable stay”
“Fabulous Victorian B&B, decorated in original period style with amazing collections! Very comfortable and a wonderful place! Well-appointed rooms and beautiful garden! Superb location in the historic neighbourhood of St. Leonard's-on-Sea. Will definitely be back! ”
“We wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and that’s what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walks… it was all there.”
“We booked to stay for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The chalet was clean and had everything we needed. We needed to arrive quite late and this was accomodated really well. The only downside was that the chalet was really warm, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we revisit the area.”
“Wonderful stay in this 18th century coaching inn,
Great hosts Paul and Debs and members of staff Matt, Romilly & James. A lovely room and very good food.
I would highly recommend The New Inn.”
