“When you visit Halifax, stay in nearby Dartmouth at Windmill Walk. You will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and a 10-minute walk to the ferry that crosses the harbor to downtown Halifax and the waterfront. Our second floor spacious apartment has large west and north windows. A small private deck is off the bedroom. This 1920s-era building is in great condition. Andy, our host who lives in the building, met us when we arrived and gave us a detailed orientation. He made us feel very welcome.”

“This room is in a house with a number of tenants in more rooms and the bathrooms are shared. It is however, as advertised, a queen room. Just a bed, fridge and wifi.”

“The parking area was safe but quite tight to get in. Kitchen set up was excellent with a small dishwasher and full size refrigerator. Bed was very comfortable with a spacious room. Room was refreshed with amenities daily. Would highly recommend. ”

“1970’s spacious retro basement suite. Lovely lake view and had coffee and wine down by the lake to watch the birds several times. Fun with the ping pong table too - what a nice addition. Was damp downstairs and dehumidifier was quite noisy. We still had a lovely time . ”
