“We had a great time in this house! Close to Bars and restaurants, but far enough away from the crowds near Belmont. House had everything we needed and we would definitely stay here again. ”

“This rental was everything we needed. It was clean, easy to find and get in, located in a great neighborhood and relatively close to the dog beach. Most days we could park super close to the rental, and there were a few days we had to park about a block away. Couldn’t have asked for anything more ”

We loved the location, all the beach items in the shed, the rooms, the grill, the hot tub, the massive garage and alley parking, plenty of tables and chairs in kitchen and courtyard, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and the elevator for heavy luggage. The property is a bit older and it shows, but nothing was a problem. The host was easy to communicate with and……

“We stayed at Ocean Sands for a week to celebrate a wedding in the family. We had 16 adults and the house was perfect! It is definitely worn and tired in spaces but it truly did not matter. Everything was clean, the location was spectacular, beach access was so simple, communication with the property manager was excellent, house sleeps everyone well, great layout for large group, pool and hot tub were a big hit along with the fireplaces. If we were in the area, we would definitely look to……

“What a fabulous home for our family of 10 to stay!! We had a couple of minor issues but April was great in getting back to us quickly. the pictures on the site are great but doesn't show how really good the pool area is. We had 5 kids age 9 to 18 and they totally enjoyed the backyard from going down the slide all day long to seeing the Sea World fireworks every night from the top of the slide area. This will definitely be our go to home if and when we return to the San Diego Area. ”

“The unit is in a great location. I wanted to do water sports and it’s only a 5 minute walk to rent kayaks, paddle boards etc in the bay. I think it’s a pretty good value considering the location to everything which is very walkable. If you are traveling with a partner, it might be a little tight space wise for more than a few days. If you’re solo it’s a pretty great option. ”

“The house is situated on a very safe cul-de-sac next to military housing. The rooms and closets were very spacious and the house came equipped with everything we needed for a toddler and infant, plus two dogs. Grocery stores are five minutes away and the beach is about ten minutes away. There were a few broken things upon arrival: one of the closet doors in front of the dryer and a towel rod in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and will consider renting again. ”

“We are so thankful for the hospitality from our host, the property and our time spent there. We enjoyed our time with our little family, absolutely adored the home and thoroughly enjoyed hanging out in the backyard "Oasis"! While we did explore lots of La Jolla and the San Diego Zoo, we opted for most of our relax time at the property. All of the communication and arrangements were much appreciated and went so smoothly. “Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This Bird Rock location is perfect - great shopping and food in La Jolla and just a few blocks to Pacific Beach! Close freeway access makes everything in the San Diego area easily accessible. The cozy studio felt spacious, thanks to its vaulted ceilings and skylights. Parking on the street was close and easy. Highly recommend! ”

“House was great for our family gathering. The layout of the house and back yard are perfect for hanging out with the family. The beds in the bedrooms are really comfortable. The owner and manager were very responsive and accommodating. We missed that the two queens in the office were blow up beds and open to family room, but it worked out ok. There is limited seating in the backyard but my brother brought over some extra chairs and a canopy for shade and all was great. Thanks! We do want to……
