“We enjoyed the space of this two-bedroom apartment, above a coffee shop. It's about 2 blocks to the beach, and two blocks in the other direction to the bay. Best of all, it's right on a bus line. We were very happy to be car-less in San Diego, using buses and Lyfts was both cheaper and less stressful than renting and driving a car. ”

“The LOCATION is the absolute best for this little gem. Beds are super comfy! Bathroom was very tiny, but completely doable. Owners responsive. Olives cafe was just around the corner and had delicious breakfast. Cheap rentals was very friendly and convenient to the beach. Would recommend! ”

“We enjoyed staying here. We chose it initially based on the location to the beach and boardwalk. This is great for watching sunsets and for evening strolls along the ocean. Good restaurants within walking distance. The property itself was comfortable. We enjoyed the kitchen, living room area, and smart tv. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which was nice. Since you do reuse towels, it would have been better to have more towel bars in the bathroom for better……

“WOW! WOW! WOW! Book this place today. Beautiful Gull's Rest was the perfect spot. Myself and 6 sisters stayed here for a long weekend and it was the best spot There wasn't one complaint. The Condo was exactly as described. OOPS on US! We did rent a large SUV and just as described in the listing it did not fit in the tandem 2 car garage. We stayed in January so we didn't have to much trouble finding street parking. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Washer and dryer with soap was a nice……

“A wonderful little cottage so close to the beach, perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. While cozy, it has all the room one would need to sleep, chill and cook - we used the kitchen quite extensively and greatly appreciated the tools available. It was great being able to walk to all of our favorite haunts, too!The only reason this didn't give 5 stars was the noise from a neighbor or neighbors - I don't hold the host responsible, but overall it did affect our sleep. Ideally this is not……

“We would stay again. The space is utilized efficiently for how small it is. Instructions to find the location were accurate and detailed. Parking is a bit of a challenge, but there is a parking lot just to the southeast of the place. As described in the listing it is loud even at night and there are lots of bright lights all night long. The bed is definitely slanted to the middle so hopefully you like to snuggle. The couch bed was typical for those kind of things. Plenty of towels were provided……

“Great communication with the host. The beach cottage was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the location, found a convenient parking space and didn't move the car. Just about anything you could need is within walking distance. Yes, there are some "colorful" people in the neighborhood, but it's a sweet beach town and we found it quiet and very relaxing. We hope to return for a longer stay in the near future.”
