“We stayed in Room 8 for four nights and had a wonderful stay. Breakfast was made to order by the chef and was absolutely delicious. The dinners were magnificent – and the Sunday roast was one of the best we've ever had! Everything was made from scratch, with perfectly cooked vegetables and a choice of pork, beef, lamb, or chicken (or even a mix of meats!). “You get what you pay for, oh okay its not got lovely gardens to walk through but the hotel building, the service, friendliness of the staff is good. The view from the Terrace bar over the rural landscape of the Somerset levels to Glastonbury Torr lovely. “Attic room, was nice, however not so great if you are tall. Even at 5ft 8, and partner 6ft 3 spent alot of time bent over avoiding hitting our heads. Bath was spectacular! Room was warm, and restrictors on the windows, so unable to get any air flow. Bed very comfy! Cafetiere and Illy coffee was a lovely touch Was a bit disappointed breakfast was included, but had to.pay extra £4 each for a full english. Food was good though. Staff super lovely.”

“The hotel is quite dated but this adds to the character. The room itself needs some updated furniture, more privacy on the windows, especially the toilet window as there was no way of keeping that up and if it was kept propped up it was in full view of the main road.
