“The best dog friendly rental we have stayed in so far. The house was clean, the beds comfortable, nicely updated and the rustic decor charming. Scaly mountain is between Highlands NC and Dillard Ga, so close enough either way to enjoy shopping and restaurants but rural enough to feel like you live in the country. Lots of dog friendly hiking trails nearby. Loved the front porch with its swing and cool evenings, and the fire pit. Definitely recommend.”

“The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers. The hotel is very close to town, you can walk. They also have bikes to take around. I highly……
