“My cabin was about two feet from the roaring Big Thompson river. That was so cool. Can't imagine if the river was higher. Crazy. At first you think, wow that river is loud, but it lulls you to sleep right away. Everything was comfortable, maybe a little worn, but it was great. A bit expensive too. But the porch swing on the river was really nice.”

There is a thermostat that is loose on the wall, no smoke detector in the master bedroom, some loose handles in the bathroom, and there was a ton of lint in the dryer filter, and when we did laundry, the water backed up into the tub, and the holder for the shower head is broken. “We really enjoyed our stay here. It was clean and the gas fireplace made it very cozy. What was especially great was the distance to the RMNP entrance, which was just a hop, skip, and a jump down the road. That was very handy for our early timed entrance tickets. The only complaint we had was the mattress had a divot in the middle and could use to be updated. I could see if you have a bad back this wouldn't be a great bed for you, but it was do-able for us.
