“We stayed here in January 2025 and it was looking very tired. The updates are fabulous and it so much nicer. Great location. It sits right in the middle of the moors and Ilkley, with about a 10 minute walk to both or a 2 minute drive. On a hill though? ”

My ONLY negative (which was my choice) was our room was located on the second floor and when we book the next time I would select a first floor room.”

A really beautiful getaway. The female members of staff had to put up with a pretty misogynistic guest while we were there (which we witnessed at breakfast) and they kept their cool and handled his rudeness with grace and patience. A lot of friendly professionals work here and you can see they put love into their work! ”
