“Parfait sejour”

“We had a warm welcome from our hostess, Sylvie on arrival at this exceptional property on the edge of the picture-postcard medieval village of Beuvron-en-Auge in the heart of the Pays d’Auge in Normandy. Our ground floor room was attractive in white and pale greys with lovely cotton pillows duvet on a wonderfully comfortable queen-sized bed. “We travel ALOT and this was the best hotel we have stayed in anywhere. We spent two days of our honeymoon here and the staff welcomed us with a huge bunch of flowers and champagne, gave us the best room in the hotel and couldn’t do enough for us. We even had our small dog and she was allowed to roam the hotel off the lead and even at breakfast. The service was perfect. A great blend of privacy and awareness. ”

“We booked a sea view room, nice view. Pretty good location although still need an hour drive to Ohama Beach. We came in Sep so there weren't too many people, but heard the beach is packed of people during the summer. Breakfast varieties are adequate.”

“We stayed here only for sleep. It's an ordinary hotel located at the outskirt of Caen. Room was clean and cozy, and they supplies breakfast. There's parking lot for guests.(free) And the price was super cheap. Totally recommended if you just want to take a rest from a long drive.”

“Mooi hotel met eigen parkeergelegenheid. De kamer en badkamer waren heel ruim en schoon. Gegeten in het sterrenrestaurant. Het was op dat moment heerlijk weer, dus lekker buiten kunnen zitten. Het ontbijt viel een beetje tegen. De eerste ochtend was het wel goed maar tijdens de tweede ochtend werd er slecht aangevuld, terwijl het toen wel druk was met gasten. ”

“Incredible hotel with amazing staff on site. In particular, Stephen was extremely hospitable, and all of the staff made us feel like we were staying with (very luxurious) family! The hotel property and rooms were beautiful, spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was amazing. The food at the sister hotel up the road was delicious, and we wish we could have stayed much longer. Will be back when we return to Honfleur!”

“This was the first place we stayed after a very long travel day. We did wait a bit to check in but the staff was v nice. There are lovely gardens to sit in and eat appetizers and have wine/beer/soft drinks. Swimming pool is indoors and very well kept. We didn’t have time to use spa. Rooms were simple but beds were good. The only negative no air conditioner and it was mid 80s during day. But left window open and it cooled down to 60s at night. Easy parking if you’re using a car. Not posh but had……

“Excellent for a short stay, one to three nights probably ideal. Good location to visit local sights. The Bayeux tapestry, the D Day beaches and the pretty town of Honfleur. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Simple and tasty breakfast. Everything very clean. Lovely pool. Easy parking. Perfect for transfer to the ferry.”
