“This property was between Alpine and Terlingua, so it is pretty remote. The area is beautiful and the motel property was cute. The room was clean, my only criticism is the beds were too firm for my liking. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay. I definitely recommend.”

“The Saloon was so cool to stay in! The front porch was great to sit on and the back had a gorgeous view. It was not convenient to get food (or anything else for that matter) but this was made clear ahead of time so we went prepared. The road was flooded out when we got there but this was also a warning ahead of time and we had a truck so had no issues. We'd go back for sure. This was our favorite place to stay out of an 8 hotel trip.”

“We selected this property for a family get away as it was centrally located to the places and events we wanted to experience. It also provided space, comfort, seclusion and privacy. The observation deck on top of the shipping container was a big hit and excellent way to observe the stars at night while being off the desert floor. The home was very comfortable with all the amenities. We would highly recommend this property for all it has to offer. ”

“We enjoyed our stay at the No Stock Ranch while we visited Big Bend. It has a huge porch with great views. Two large bedrooms and two large baths. Big Kitchen and Living. Great for families or people who need separate bedrooms and want to visit / cook at home. Hosts were very helpful. ”

“Very different and unique - gives you a feel of the outdoors with comfort and convenience of modern living. We used this place as a basecamp for our daily adventures and would recommend for individuals. Also has a pet roadrunner whom just hung around us a lot…. ”

“Property very much as expected. Lots of kitchen supplies & utensils plus frig has many condiments. Several gallon water jugs also provided. Only downside is distance from the park - 35 minutes to Maverick entrance gate (which was known). ”

“We loved staying in the glamping tent and will visit again! The instructions to get to the property were very clear (able to do it in the dark with a mid-size SUV easily). Host called the day before to make sure we would be able to communicate with them. Tent was spotless when we arrived and included a couple water bottles, first aid kit, and plenty of lighting. The firepit was great to have and there are a couple chairs inside the tent to use for sitting around it. Showers at Terlingua Ranch……

“Very nice, clean and with a perfect view”

“My partner and I really enjoyed this little house surrounded by the open, beautiful land of west Texas. We loved how quiet and private this was. The actual house itself was really nice and had everything you needed for a nice short stay. It was also not too far from the main area of Terlingua and Big Bend National Park. We will definitely be coming back! ”

“This was my mom's "Bucket List" trip to Big Bend, so we wanted to let her pick someplace special, and this was it. Honestly, the trip wouldn't have been the same if we'd stayed elsewhere. First, the location was SO close to the park on one side, and town on the other...but had plenty of space/privacy around it, with views of the mountains, sunset, and the fascinating ruin of the old Terlingua schoolhouse (photos of the sunset coming through it were beautiful). “We wanted to have a full Big Bend experience. After doing research online, I went with this location. The videos on their website sold me. We could see the Chiscos mountains from our patio. It was designed to help block the winds at night. We sat under the stars by our fire and just soaked it up. The bed and pillows were comfy, and we felt like we were really in the middle of nowhere...perfect. The hosts were easy to communicate with and the stay was everything we wanted. ”

"The location is only 4 minutes drive to Big Bend which is a big plus for us. We stayed there 4 nights, and the host is responsive and keep the trash in our room cleaned every day. The check in and check out thrue texting is also convenient for us because we check in late and check out early thanks to the smart door lock. The layout is practical and in room appliances (microwave, fridge, hair blower) are also help us staying in there for easy breakfast and dinner. Overall, I recommend this place. "
