“Firstly the house was amazing. Very clear a lot of thought went into the construction, finishes, and décor. The kitchen was well-appointed (above average) even with a few spices, seasonings, and condiments. House was clean and beds were comfortable. “We spent the weekend snowshoeing and cross country skiing at Fern Park. The park is a short drive from the motel. Great restaurants were within walking distance from the motel. “The place was nice but, very small for a family of four. The shower was super small and the floor in-front of it felt like it might cave in. The beds were nice and the coffee was nice. We didn’t use the fire pit but, that was nice as well. It is very rustic like a lot of places in the area. But, we’re able to do what we needed to do.”

“My stay at Hill Top Lodge was wonderful! Chris is a fabulous host (along with Bare and Nikko, the two king shepherds). The bacon really is as good as the other reviews say! Photos of the property really don’t do it justice (it may be a bit steep for some to access the creek by foot though). The kitchen was well stocked with basic spices, oils, pots, and pans for cooking dinners. I would absolutely stay here again!”

“Check in process was very straightforward. Place was very cute and cozy, and included all the basics such as a coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, and linens. Got a little chilly at night but between the heater and the space heater we were perfectly comfortable. Nice and quiet location, <10 mins from Stewart’s. Be prepared to drive 20+ minutes for restaurants, especially if visiting off-season as many close seasonally. Overall a great place and a great value, would definitely stay here again!”
