“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this vintage retreat while attending a wedding in Tyler. So much character and the personal touches planned by the host were definitely a plus. The home is spacious, well-lit, and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic necessities and appliances. We especially liked the coffee and espresso machines. “Check in and check out were very simple and the owners were very accessible when needed. The cottage has everything you need and it’s very cozy. Everything about this place is well built and well kept. There was a big storm the evening we arrived that knocked out power for 14 hours to the whole town. We did have water because the owners ran a generator to power the well and they invited us for coffee in the morning. Thankfully later in the morning, the power came back on. “We loved staying here, it was my 50th birthday and we were able to spend it with our children and grand kids. It was so quaint, and very clean as well as there was a lot of room and the backyard was very clean. There were a couple of downsides, one: the water pressure and temperature in the shower left a little to be desired, and we were only given 1 trash bag to use so when it was full we had to go and get grocery sacks.
