“Funky little place, but clean and spacious. Nice big tv, and a WONDERFUL King sized bed. We were exhausted on arrival, slept like babies for 11 hours. As cheap as you're going to find around here, and each room is a separate little cottage, so it was Very Quiet.”

“Chuck and Diane are great hosts: there when you need them for help or trip ideas, and totally unobtrusive when you don't. Enjoyed meeting them.The location is fabulous for easily getting on Hwy 1, yet far enough away for peace and quiet. We got good leads from our hosts about local trails and were pleased by all our walks.The only minor observation was that because there are windows between the rooms (bedroom and living room, and bathroom and bedroom), if you are not a couple and have different……

“Very clean, close to Monterey. Safeway is less than 10 min away. Bit of a winding road to get there but nothing scary. People have negative thoughts about the bathroom, but it’s seriously not as big of a deal that people made it out to be. If you’re in the bedroom and someone’s in the bathroom, you have to wait to get to the kitchen, living room. Not a concern. We absolutely loved it and the host, Jae was amazing and quick to communicate with. Perfect for 2 people”

The cottage is so quaint and precious, simple, clean and charming right out of a Dickens novel.We brought our doggies there’s a beautiful lawn in front of the cottage and then just steps away to your own in San Simeon, which was just simply divine and glorious. I walked every morning with my daughter and friends and family over the pebble Stone rocks and through……

The home had a wonderful historical background, the beach that lay beyond the yard was enchanting and the house itself was amazingly well supplied.That we could bring our dog was just the icing on the cake. A cozy cabin situated in the woods, the place feels very private and has private hiking trails to a beautiful view of the rolling hills and ocean as well as a Redwood grove by a stream. It is also a great location for exploring Big Sur and the many state parks in this region. ”
