“We selected to stay at the Painted Lady as we needed a place in Birmingham for a wedding weekend. The unit was clean and had the essentials we needed. “Beautiful hotel! Nice beds, hot showers, quiet (even though the train was nearby), and friendly staff. The made-to-order breakfast was convenient every morning and the food was great. “We never stayed at a Drury hotel. When we checked in we were told that there would be a happy hour or I think they called it a “kick back” at 5:30. At that time each guest got three drinks from the make shift bar. They also served a light dinner. It was super good. At breakfast they had a wonderful breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice. The only downside was the traffic coming out of the subdivision where the hotel sits. ”
