“Excellent place to stay with awesome history and a beautiful exterior but right at a park and a significant amount of homeless people about lowering the safety level. Guys running the Valet were top notch and deserve to get some accolades. Bar and restaurant closed on Sunday so unable to review. Room and hallways on 3rd floor need some love but for most part we’re good for folks that like older hotels with spirit. ”

“We stopped for a quick 2 nights stay to break up our drive from Chicago to Destin and it was great.
