“We loved the retro look of the room and the hotel. As other reviewers noted, the hotel is close to sorority and fraternity houses, so there's a lot of party-related noise and activity. Also, the only free parking is on the street, so it can be hard to find a spot. We definitely will stay again because we loved the hotel and its proximity to UVA Grounds and restaurants.”

“First when I checked in, there still guests inside for the room gave to me Then I had to go back to asked another room. The lady at front desk was not happy and passed that room to another check in guest. Moment after, that guest met the same issue. Few hours after my check in, my credit card was charged again. “Quiet area with convenient access to downtown Charlottesville and surrounding areas. Excellent location for those travelling with a dog (clean pet area in back of hotel and walking areas in adjacent UVA campus). Disappointed that the gym was not available. Also, some staff was friendly, but others weren't as pleasant as I would expect of those in the hospitality industry.
