“Positives and negatives. The room was great, plenty of room and amenities for our family of 4. Great outdoor space. Friendly and accommodating staff. Things I wish I knew: no restaurant onsite, only lobby area breakfast. No ‘deli’ or other food options available onsite, although indicated on the property details. Cooking meals is easy to do in the room. Hotel is noted as ‘12 minute walk’ from the port. It is almost a mile (1.6km) and uphill. Located in a residential area, little to do around the……

“I stayed at B&B Dela for two nights during vacation. This is a locally-owned B&B and the family is incredibly welcoming. My partner was feeling unwell on the day of check-in, and they accommodated an early check-in with no problem. Everything is impeccably clean, and the pool area, gym and common area look as if brand new. There is a beautiful beach within 15min walk down the hill / local streets, and the old town cathedral and waterfront area are within another 15min walk down the road. I would……

“The room was adequate for a one night stay, however not as close to town as expected and up a lot of stairs unless you know an alternate route. Taxis not so easy to get. I would suggest anybody walking to look up the route for cars so you don’t have stairs, with suitcases. Very helpful with suggestions of better walking routes and places to eat and happy to store our bags for the day. A electric jug is provided in the room but no tea or coffee, which is unusual and rather pointless. Comfortable……

“Having traveled extensively and staying at many hotels, I could truly tell you this was one gem of our hotel. Located approximately a mile from the Hvar town the hotel is situated directly on the Adriatic Sea. The hotel is very clean and the staff are very hospitable. The octopus was heavenly, and the preparation of the meal was also heavenly. They have a nice little pool and beach bar. “Beautiful home on the hill with an infinity pool overlooking a private bay. This is a little piece of paradise outside the noise and the hustle and bustle of Hvar town, but only a 10 min drive away. The owner, Tony, is very friendly and accommodating and will drive you to town for 13 euros each way. It is about a 45 minute walk. Very secluded and peaceful! Perfect for a romantic get away or for families, but come prepared as there is nothing near by but 2 quite pricey restaurants. ”
