“The bathroom lock door is non-existent and broken. There are some stains on the carpet. Quite disappointing that there is no mini fridge in the room. ”

“Booked to stay as we were attending the wedding of our nephew. Early wedding so had to leave our bags in the car until after 2pm check-in. Not really a problem but would have been nice to hang my extra clothes earlier. Staff polite and helpful. Room OK but no aircon so quite warm. There was a desk fan in the room so that helped. Breakfast was good with a variety of continental and cooked breakfast. Refreshed regularly”

“A 1970s office block converted into a hotel. Rooms are huge by UK standard, both the room and equipment are very clean. Staff is friendly and experienced. The main complaint would be the WiFi - averaging 100-500kb/s, which is slow even by 2010 standards. Certainly need a replacement. Elevators only stop on even floors, so you would need to walk 1/2 floor up or down to the 1F reception or room (uneven floor for me). Elevator is very fast and there are 3 of them, so no issues at all. The nearby……

“This is a good hotel built at a Services Area suitable for breaks in between journeys. Staying in for one night is nit a bad idea except that its location is not that easy to find.”

“We stayed in a room that is more spacious than average ones. Clean and tidy. Staff are very polite and hospitable. Buffet style English breakfast is served, and quite tasty. The kitchen even takes simple orders to suit your needs. Guests can also use the pool and gym for free, which is rare for many hotels. Lots of parking spaces. The only concern is that the room has no air conditioning. During a summer day it could be rather hot and stuffy.”

“Not a bad hotel. I stayed whilst visiting a festival so prices were elevated, but that was true everywhere. The room was fairly dated and could use a refurb and the bathroom tile grouting wasn't in great condition. The bed was comfortable enough and it was quiet. The hotel is functional and does the job, but has potential to be nicer with a bit of investment.”

“Despite being an older building the room was quite clean a few issues the bath has hairs in from previous customers and the toilet seat was very wobbly. The bed wasn’t the comfiest and the nightclub was an issue but suppose that’s a council problem. Overall for what we paid it was fine and we would visit again. ”

“A Starbucks at the entrance of the hotel is very convenient, as well as sets the theme and expectation one can expect from this establishment. An excellent location for visiting Manchester and Liverpool area. The hotel is located in a remote area of Warrington that felt safe and quiet. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, as were the shower and bathrooms. The place was quite busy over the weekends as it is frequented by locals, but such liveliness is well kept away from the bedrooms……
