“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”
“When I booked the accommodation, I was not aware that the lodge was located in a forest. I was, therefore, surprised when were driving at around 10.00 pm and turn to Elk street, it was an unpaved road and we had to drive through the wilderness for 4 miles. we were unsure if we would end up at the lodge. However, we did reach the lodge, and once were inside, we were at ease. The lady at the front desk gave us the key to our room, without even asking for my ID or credit card. The lodge was clean,……

“Staying in this place was very comfortable. Nice place for both short and long term vacation. We got a penthouse for 5 day staying. 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom was great for couples or family. Although the location was about 15 minutes uphill from the Golden town but the view was totally worth it. We didn't have time to try all the facilities in the place recommended by the staff. Overall, this was a great place if you travel to Banff or Jasper.”

We spent over a week in Alberta in various establishments from lodges to hotels to motels, and my whole family agreed that this was the place we all slept the best. It's not much to look at, but it's extremely clean and quiet. Great outdoor pool and indoor hot tub. Easy walk to the grocery store. Otherwise Golden is a boring little place, but that's not a criticism of this……

“We loved our stay at Palliser Lodge. The room was well equipped and the bed was great. The view from room 311B was stunning - looking out toward the mountains. We made good use of the balcony for our breakfasts and dinners. We would definitely recommend the Lodge and stay here again.”
