“The staff, especially Robert were really friendly, hospitality and nothing was too much for them to do every request was replied with “no bother”. We arrived earlier than the check in time and as the room was ready they checked us in. They also allowed us an extra 30 minutes late check out. The breakfast was very delicious, the smoothie was made with banana but the chefs were happy to make one for me with bananas. Overall it’s was a good stay. The staff’s pleasantness was the best. ”

“It was a beautiful location. The cottages are well equipped. There was a bit of a musty smell. I think that could have been the carpets in the bedrooms and sitting area. Wooden floors would be more hygienic. Having the hotel so close was the effect for the leisure centre and bar! A great weekend all considered and I will be back!”

“The Ardgort House is a delightful step back in history - a lovely manor home with modern conveniences. Our host, John, maintains the property inside and out with care - from the fountain out front to the cleanliness of the rooms. The inn is a walkable distance from the village of Castlederg which has all the basic necessities. (Evening dining options are limited, and the Ardgort House Bar and Restaurant are not currently in operation.) John provides a warm fire in the woodstove in the evenings……
