“Private riverside retreat. Lots of outdoor spaces to enjoy. During our stay the river flow was very fast and there were quite a lot of rafts and kayakers going by. So very cool to watch and cheer them on. The house had all the amenities you could think of- meaning you could cook and not have to brimg anything from home - like OMG I forgot the can opener...Ive done that before. Landscaping like a beautiful park. The sounds of the river were refreshing and lulled you into a good sleep. Oh to……

“Love it love it love it. Kids loved it and we did too. The house was a great get away from the city life, the view, the quiet and the simple fact that everything we wanted to go do is less than 10mins away driving was a big plus. Everything in the house worked great.Too great may I say that the A/C in the house had to turned off for a few hrs because of got too cold inside, knowing outside was HOT. The drive to the location of the house was super easy to find and get to. It is also pet friendly……

“My family, 12 lb dog and I stayed here to get away from the New Year's ruckus. This was an excellent way to do that. The house was very spacious and comfortable so we settled in quickly. The weather was very cold when we got there, but thankfully our host left us heaters in our rooms and we had them on while the house warmed up. The neighborhood itself was very quiet and it got really dark at night, so we were able to see all the stars.The only downside would be there was a lot of dog fur from……

“We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!”

“We were pleasantly surprised at this place. The pics do not give it justice, it was well stocked as we love to cook on vacation. The bathroom and bedrooms were also stocked with everything we needed. The surround sound was a surprise too! The outside was just beautiful and peaceful! Deer were roaming on the road. “Nothing about this review is personal. I think it's only fair that people have the info before spending time & money. When arriving, we initially thought our stay would be in the cute home next door. Though the address I was given wasn't the next door address, we thought surely we wouldn't be staying in someone's back yard. We were wrong. Parking is in the host's driveway, behind their personal vehicles. We were reluctant to park there because we didn't want to block anyone in, but the host……

“This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on……
