If you are planning on not using your car and walking everywhere then you'll be fine. We used our car often. It would have been nice if we could have just parked right by the apartment. “Perfect cottage for 2 and our two dogs. Everything we needed was on-site and the cottage was beautifully painted and decorated like a little island get away. The backyard was fully fenced and accessed from the cottage back door and worked well for our two dogs.Holden Beach was a few minutes drive over the bridge. We were there during a cold winter spell but still fully enjoyed the sunnier days walking the beach or riding our bikes on the bike trail. The owners are superfriendly and accomodating.……

Off street parking was easy. Located close to riverfront but most will prefer transportation to visit the area.”
