“The riad was beautiful. We arrived in the afternoon and was first led into a reception area next to the courtyard, which gives us a wonderful view of the beautiful courtyard. We were then greeted with some mint tea and biscuits which were lovely. The staffs were all warm and friendly, and was very helpful with carrying our luggages upstairs. The room was spacious, warm and tastefully decorated. It had a very high ceiling which we enjoyed very much. The bathroom was big and quite nicely decorated……

“Riad Semlalia is a true oasis in the middle of the bustling Fes medina, with stunning rooms and inner courtyard, beautiful rooftop terrace with a pool, and the best breakfast we had in Morroco. Abdul was also a fantastic host, always available to help and upgraded us at no cost. The location is a bit far from the centre of the medina and most restaurants but definitely within walking distance and easily accessible by car (though we didn't always feel comfortable with the men lingering around the……
