“Fortescue is my family's hometown, so finding a great place to stay at an affordable price meant a lot to me and my sister. This wonderful house is clean and cheerful with lots of light. The hosts provided all kinds of extras, like spices, cold water in the fridge, eggs, plastic bags, cleaning products, coffee, and tea. In the back of the house there is a wonderfully shaded sitting area with comfortable chairs and even a fire pit, which would be great for a stay during the cooler months. We……

“Spent a week at the “Yellow Cottage” during 2025 HEATWAVE last week in June. Enjoyed its charm, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, and OF COURSE - the VIEW! Hosts were very attentive. We enjoyed the deck when there was a breeze, but as senior citizens - spent many a hot day looking out at the view from inside. The Air conditioner had a tough time keeping up with the heat, but the ceiling fans helped keep things cool. We began every day with watching the sunrise and would not hesitate……

“This is a wonderful place to simply relax. It’s away from all the hustle but close enough to visit if you want to. The sunrise is spectacular with lots of wildlife. The house is fully stocked with anything and everything you could ask for. The beds are very comfortable and the hot tub is very relaxing. It was so nice to be able to bring our dogs too. “There was a bit if confusion out the gate as a Real Estate company handles the booking, not VRBO but once that was figured out it was smooth. Good: Amazing views. Spent much of the stay staring out the windows. Kitchen was well equipped. House is clean and well maintained. Easy beach access. Bay is relatively warm and very calm.Things to note: If you have older adults with you or toddlers, theres a ton of steps. The second king bed is in what is essentially a finished garage on the ground floor.……
