“It was an absolutely amazing place to stay and eat. The staff were fantastic, very helpful, and friendly. The food was amazing, and everywhere was spotlessly clean.”

“Owner Mike is friendly and service and his breakfast cooking was good. One thing I feel can further improve is, when we arrived at the hotel around 1700hrs it was already total darkness as we are travelling in winter Dec 2024. Mike should install a lamp by the sign board where the instructions for the guests, to guide the guests to the instruction’s board, as the winter darkness make it challenging for us. He should also change the blackboard to others board as the chalk on the blackboard……

“Lovely large room - quite dark, not many lights. Comfy bed & small fridge provided which was useful. Window wouldn’t stay open so wedged open (really hot few days). Old building so you could hear lots of creaking floor boards and when in the bathroom - you could conversation in next room. Fab pool which I don’t get chance to use. Only real disappointment was when I returned home, the hotel have charged me for the room which I had already prepaid with hotels.com. I have not had any response to my……

“It’s in a cute little town in a good central location for South western England. We used it for a 5 day home base to visit different locations near by. The Host, Kathryn is very nice and a great host. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Breakfast was taylored to what you wanted and very good. Highly recommend ”

“Was there for 3 nights, the staff were incredibly helpful and professional. The breakfast was good, the only downside I felt is the breakfast timing. It starts only by 8:00, but they're are happy to pack you something if you let them know in advance. ”
