“The Landsdowne is a delightful boutique hotel of historic significance that is welcoming and in the heart of town centre. Hannah was informative and helpful - always there to answer questions and make sure service was on point. The dining was superb! We will definitely return when in Calne. ”

“Very cosy but modernized historic property! Had its own pub and restaurant serving delicious food and drink, and our hotel room included a cooked to order hot breakfast. It’s in a quiet countryside but with easy access to towns for any needed supplies. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!”

“We were very surprised to find a small and beautiful town named Lechlade nearby. And it is 45 hours' drive to Cotswold which was quite acceptable. However the room was not tidy enough but still in the acceptable range.”

“Fabulous location a short drive or park & ride bus from the city centre. Lovely setting and well maintained. Staff were friendly and happy to assist. Food was lovely, with a nice selection for breakfast. Rooms were well designed and spacious, with a lovely private courtyard. Loved being able to have my dog with me and she was even permitted in the bar and breakfast room (not in main area near breakfast bar, which was fine as I had company to watch her). Would stay again 😁”
