“This was such a unique experience. The house is comfortable and lets you experience generations of the host family. Although the farmhouse doesn’t have all the modern amenities that most rental properties do, the charm and quaintness of the property is really worth it. It has everything you might need to simply enjoy your vacation. The property itself is very nice, the location is exceptional and close to downtown, restaurants, hiking, and the lake. Our kids enjoyed feeding the goats in the……

“We loved staying at the Hersie House. The home is extremely well equipped with all the essentials and a few nice extras that we didn’t expect, such as coffee and creamer and spices in the kitchen. The decor was charming. We enjoyed looking at the pictures of the renovation and reading about the history of the place. The heated bathroom floor was a touch of heaven! We will be back!!”

“This home is so pretty- beautiful scenery in the back yard and gorgeous inside. Nice, comfy living space and good outdoor area. The host was so nice and helpful when we had to make some changes. The only thing I wish I would have paid closer attention to is that the home is RIGHT by the highway- like 30 yards from front door to road. This wasn’t too bad for us since it was cool and we didn’t spend too much time outside, but could have been a turn off it we were looking for more private outside……
