“Har bott på The Trout flera gånger tidigare och har alltid varit väldigt nöjd. Rykten vi hörde på byn sa att det blivit ny ägare och att det inte var lika bra längre. När vi kom dit så höll man på med renovering och vi blev initialt placerade i ett rum som inte alls motsvarade våra förväntningar. Personalen var som alltid tidigare helt fantastisk och de löste ett annat rum till oss. Även om det finns många bra matställen i Cockermouth så tycker jag att The Trout har riktigt bra mat, så vi åt de……

“Very quiet, cozy & comfortable Inn. Although located in a remote area of Lake District, easy to find & can reach other spots easily. Must try the dinner at the restaurant which is very good with reasonable price. Only the towel rack in my room is not working which is a minor stuff. Furthermore everything in the breakfast seems overcooked.”
