“Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests.
Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic.

“Amazing! Staff were so friendly and helpful. The property itself is actually jaw dropping. I've never stayed anywhere like it before. Will definitely be returning. The bedroom and ensuite were both huge. Very comfortable bed. Bath and separate shower was a bonus. Cooked to order breakfast was fantastic. Loads of nice touches like complimentary chilled bottles of water, sweets and snacks. Lovely space to relax both inside the house and in the garden. Free parking was also available. Overall great……

“Ein kleines Paradies, sehr nette Eigentümer, tolles, grünes Grundstück mit Ausblick, sauberes, geräumiges Häuschen, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, Küche zur Begrüßung mit frischen Lebensmitteln (Brot, Butter, Obst, Milch, Kaffee...)gefüllt. 6 Minuten mit dem Auto nach Glastonbury oder in die andere Richtung zum Pup" The Bird" mit einer hervorragenden Küche.”
"Family room (connecting rooms) booked. One w king sized bed n one w sofa bed. Spacious. Clean. Enough storage. Best with free parking. Plenty of parking spaces. Service was good. Staff responded quickly to our requests. Room price is reasonable. Will stay again "
