The room had a fridge and a microwave was available near my room. The breakfast had enough options to get me started for the day. “So, this is a very old property. That said, it is very well-maintained. I am of the mindset why not stay in a room that has knotty pine walls and mid Century modern furniture than the usual cookie cutter hotel. Parking is directly in front of your room door. It is 20 feet to walk to the lake front. It is a very nice walk up and down the lakeshore. There are geese and other water birds fishing in the morning, people with their dogs running along the shallows. Just the sort of vibe I want……

“The unit was renovated. Its very clean, the bed and pillows are good. The property is on the side of a highway so I can hear vehicles passing by at night. I also hear the next door occupants flushing their toilet. The sink on the bathroom is so small. So, we just used the one in the kitchenette. I liked that dishes, cups, utensils and several glasses are provided in the room.”
