“We loved the pub and Alina really went out of her way to ensure we had a good stay/enjoyed our breakfast. We hope that they are able to get their plumber to fix their shower properly, as it fluctuated dangerously between scalding hot and cold.”
“Lovely coaching inn in beautiful Yorkshire Dales. Welcome very friendly as was service throughout stay. Room not huge but adequate and very comfortable bed with good supply of linen. Whole hotel was kept well heated. Beautifully cooked dinner and breakfast. Would definitely stay again though not sure if menu changed much.”

“The pub is situated in peaceful countryside and is in a great location.
The proprietors were so welcoming and kind, helping me to my room with my luggage. My room was comfortable, nicely decorated and the bathroom clean with nice toiletries.
The food in the pub was good, and the service was friendly and efficient.
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and would certainly stay there again if I’m in the area.”

A stunning after dinner walk in picturesque surroundings. Could do with an advertising board nearer the M6 as you are such a hidden gem!”
“This was a lovely place to stay and incredible value for money. This is not a 5* hotel but it has a lovely charm and a is ran by a hardworking, lovely couple. A room with breakfast included for the price you are paying is amazing. Me and my wife enjoyed our breakfast and even catered for me (vegetarian). Highly recommend! Will stay here again. ”
“The house was well equipped. Comfortable beds. Parking down the road, although the next house parked right outside our front door. Strangely had no BBC on the TV. Local pub did good food. A good base for the southern Lakes”
“I booked my stay at this hotel through Expedia. When I checked in I was told that I hadn’t prepaid through Expedia. Because I was tired after a long day, I paid as requested by the hotel . Through Expedia I requested this double payment to be returned. Over a week later I’m still waiting.”
