“Overnight stay. In the heart of Sedbergh, with public parking about 75m away. Food looked good but the menu isn't very adventurous so we ate at the Black Bull, just round the corner. This has a more upmarket menu at upmarket prices. Not very convenient if you have mobility issues and there is no lift. We enjoyed our stay and the staff were great. All in all, good value and we were not disappointed. ”

“The location is great and nearby the ferry pier. But the hotel is not in good maintenance at room, the toilet ceiling have a lot of dirty water marks, it looked disgusting. I booked a lakeview room that cost £250 a night, but not worth it, the room is really dilapidated, even they don't have a refrigerator at room, I needed to keep my birthday cake in their restaurant. The room price wss including the breakfast but it was lack of choice, they serve breakfast until 10:30 am, when I ordered……

“The room and hotel was elaborate and classy, with a kingsize 4 poster bed. The drapes around the bed and at the window, were swags and tails, with the period furniture that fits in with the hotel. All very grand. The only downfall was that the window was a bit shaky causing a banging noise, which disturbed our sleep at times.”

“We stayed at the Golden Lion with friends as we were walking the 3 peaks on the Friday, we both stayed in a classic room, the rooms were lovely, comfy bed, hair dryer, shampoo and conditioner, tea and coffee and bottled water, don't forget to ask for milk before bed. “It’s hard to comment properly as we arrived late in the dark but even still the staff on the desk were so friendly greeting us, and super helpful and understanding when I realised I’d made a mistake with the booking. It’s lovely and quiet despite being so close to the motorway. Immediately put at ease and reassured that it’s a great place to stay, even if as it is for us just an overnight stopover mid journey. ”

“之前看评价说房间很差，担心了半天，入住后觉得一点也不差，就是房间里没有wifi信号（房间内收费），自己的网络也时有时无。如果选择一楼前台区域楼上的房间，可以接受到大堂的免费wifi信号。 我最喜欢的走10分钟来到海边栈道，一路晨跑，再看个日出把自己感动到哭。栈道会途径一个小镇及它的火车站，可以让你拍很久。”
