“Love it here, been coming here two/three times a year for the past three years when visiting my father. Owner Rhonda and her husband are great. Perfect place for summer fun or fall colors. ”

“Beautiful cottage, spotlessly maintained! 100% as described. Beautiful view of "the bayou" with the fall colors. 2 pair of binoculars available for bird watching was a great perk! We watched a snowy egret AND a bald eagle fishing in the waters...awesome! Only downside was lots of Canadian geese AND tons of their droppings down by the dock and fire ring which made us stay up closer to the house or our dog would have been rolling in it evey day. Hey, nature is nature! They were fun to watch……

“Our stay was related to fishing the nearby Muskegon River so did not use many of the properties/lake features. great place. very clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were great. Did not use the lake but the location on the lake looks great. ”

“We stayed at Frank’s place the week of July 4th with our adult kids and grandkids. Loved the space outdoors with the big tree swing, large porch, fire pit and bball court. Frank was a kind and responsive host and easy to talk to. The indoor space is separated from but part of Frank’s house. We cooked most dinners at the house and kitchen was well equipped with nice table for family meals. The bedrooms and bath and shower are all upstairs with several beds in the first room along with the……

“The view was perfect and the house was the perfect accommodation for this group. The sprawling lawn was a nice bonus for playing games and getting sun. My suggestion would be to get more rugs for the deck as that deck gets way to hot and put in the ladder for use because it’s hard to get in and out of the river. It was nice that the boat had everything we needed in the kitchen. My only concern was how dusty it was. Overall great spot to go with a large group and friends!”

“House was well kept and cool. Beach, porch, and dock could use some repair cleanup. Accidentally locked us out of the house but had someone there 10 minutes to let us back in. Overall good stay.”

“This property was amazing. The house was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. The hosts were incredibly easy to work with and personally delivered a boat and kayaks that we rented from them. The location is ideal and our kids enjoyed the beach and large grass area, and we had a fire in the fire pit each night. The house slept 4 adults and 4 kids comfortably.”
