“A fabulous little gem. The bar man even fixed my broken heel! Now that's going above and beyond. The lovely ladies even made My dog his own sausage for breakfast. Beds were comfy. My only issue would be it's a little bit cold in places but it's a old building whose owners (not staff) need to give it a bit of TLC ”

“Amazing. Right from the start the staff were friendly, polite and welcoming. Food was delicious - we ate at the hotel for dinner - having the 'pigs' in blanket sharing starter and then both steak pies. Next morning - breakfast was great - although there was no 'bacon' for us - the server compensated by offering us additional sausages - so it wasn't too much of a disappointment. ”

“Weekend break in this property. It was very modern. Tastefully decorated and all the things you need for a nice stay. The only issue was noise from other guests coming and going in the early hours but out of the control of the owners ”

“We stayed here as a couple but also as part of a larger family group, including my niece and nephew (12 and 8 respectively). Our room was the Illingworth room. It was huge, facing out across the road to the lovely old church. Road noise was minimal and the bed extremely comfy with good pillows which were not too soft, perfect for us. We slept well. En suite was well laid out and tastefully decorated. A few hangers were on a rail for our clothes and a hairdryer, iron and ironing board were also……
