“Stayed 2 nights in Feb. Very comfortable bed and well presented room. The Inn itself was quiet and so lacked a little atmosphere but then it was mid-week. The food was excellent, I especially liked the salmon and the mushroom risotto was splendid. We would have eaten there again on the second night but the vegetarian options were limited. I'm sure the chef would have come up with something suitable but we wanted to explore other eating options locally anyway.
Breakfast was plentiful and the bar……
“Was a lovely little room. Clean and cozy.
Down points are that room was too hot with no means to cool it down and no spoons or stirrers to make the drinks.
Would deffo recommend but if your like me and get hot too quick then ask for a room with aircon.”
“Really great stay - I arrived late, but service was very prompt despite this. Room was lovely and shower (pressure and temperature and enclosure) was absolutely brilliant. Breakfast in the morning (full English) set me up for the day and the staff were very friendly and chatty. A great stay, a lovely place, I will be back.”
“The property is ideally situated for the city centre.
Very clean and tidy, easy checking in process on the morning of check in you are sent a message with the codes to get into the property and for the key safe of your room.

“I always stay at the Lockkeeper when I'm up visiting family. It's clean, comfortable with plenty of parking and excellent wi-fi (I worked from the hotel one day, including video calls). The staff are always welcoming and friendly and I often eat at the pub when I stay.
It would be good to have an ashtray by the hotel, the only ashtrays are currently in front of the pub.”

The spa was great, most enjoyable. All staff were helpful & very friendly.

“Check in: at the bar. Wait for 5 minutes as the staff served at the bar at that time. Wifi: good. Room: spacious, clean. One grocery shop near by, 5 minutes walk. No self laundry service. Breakfast: not buffet except juoice, milk and cereal, ok, basic. ”
