“Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome.”

“The room was compact, clean, had a small TV & coffee making facilities, there is a lounge area & kitchen on the same floor that we were on, although we didn’t use it I can see that would be useful, but beware if your not too mobile, there are a lot of steep stairs, also pub below is open till 12 and we did encounter a lot of noise on Sunday night, so if you’re to bed early, be warned. Bed was comfy and has a nice big shower in bathroom. ”

“The stay was good, there are several hotels in Wakefield and I wanted to try something new to compare to others I have stayed in. The rooms are all very similar, quite basic, but functional and for a short stay, no issue. Shower could have been better, but everything was clean. The pub next door was a winner in that the choice of food was a lot better than similar hotels with a pub chain with it, in that it wasn't all fried food. Will be staying again.”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”
