“Was a lovely little room. Clean and cozy. Down points are that room was too hot with no means to cool it down and no spoons or stirrers to make the drinks. Would deffo recommend but if your like me and get hot too quick then ask for a room with aircon.”

“The staff were all friendly and helpful, the room was clean and fresh. It was a great choice for us with a 6yr old in tow. Good value for money with a little choice for food next door on a budget. The parking was great and included, all you had to do was register your car at reception when checking in.”

“We received a very warm welcome with refreshments in the garden with our hosts. This house has history which becomes apparent when inspecting the quaint interior. Our room was small but comfortable with features matching the age of the property. Breakfast taken in the vine room were excellent with various choices. The pleasant guest lounge was comfortably furnished. Our hosts, Hillary and Graham, were warm and friendly. We would certainly use this B&B if staying in the area again.”

“The location for the Peaks is fantastic and it’s more affordable than staying in the Peaks itself. We stayed as a family of four and have stayed here before prior to its rebrand but it could do with a bit of TLC. The lady on the front desk was very friendly and also engaged with our young children which was nice. There is a bar/restaurant connected to the hotel, where we had a drink, but we didn’t eat there.
