“The cabin is huge and lovely. Plenty of space for gathering both inside and out. Lots of fire wood. The kitchen was stocked as you’d expect from a short term rental. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are super nice. The property is really cool and a lot of fun to explore. The hot tub had a strong chemical smell, the host advised us to add water and leave the lid off to air out, it was fine after that but required some work on our part which was a little annoying. “I can't say enough about the Rising Sun log cabin. It was truly one of the BEST properties my family and i have ever stayed. Larry and Susan are the most kind, pleasant, and down to earth Hosts. “Our family of six stayed at the cabin overnight on a cross country road trip. Sheila was kind enough to make up the futon and air mattress to accommodate all of us and it was SO appreciated when our arrival time was delayed:)The cabin is cozy and clean with lovely attention to detail.
