“It was an end of the summer trip for the two of us a last-minute getaway. We normally camp in our tent, but with the weather being so unpredictable, we decided to rent a cabin this time, and it gave us the benefit of both worlds a little bit of rustic and a little bit of home away from home. “We had the most amazing stay at Headley Inn. The cabin was a great size for a couple pup and it was clean and well cared for. As history nerds the background and buildings were fascinating to learn about. The hosts were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Sitting on the porch drinking delicious wine was the highlight of our trip. We have famoly in the area we visit often and now we're recommending all our people stay here when they pass through because it's truly a unique and memorable……

“When we walked in, we had to sweep automatically there was dog bones under the bed… went to put coffee by the coffee machine and there was grease all over the coffee machine had to go out and buy a coffee maker mold in the bathroom. They hide it behind a hamper and when I addressed it, nobody said anything but other than that check-in was awesome and all the hiking was great”

Sheila was kind enough to make up the futon and air mattress to accommodate all of us and it was SO appreciated when our arrival time was delayed:)The cabin is cozy and clean with lovely attention to detail. “Wonderful property! The landscaping all over is so stunning! It is clear that they literally thought about any need we could have and had it ready for us. We could have just brought the clothes on our backs and been set! The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous! - my dream kitchen and the accordion style glass wall that opens up to an indoor/outdoor magical experience perfect for entertaining. We have told all our friends and family about this place and we hope it will be available next year because……

“Had a great time with family. Enjoyed the nicely set up fire pit & the very relaxing hot tub. They have most anything you may need in the kitchen and more. Kids loved Hazel the horse next door and the outdoor games was a nice touch. The poperty was mostly surrounded by trees making it feel like your own little peaceful retreat!! Melissa was great and answered any questions we had. This would be a top pick when coming back to this area. ”
