“Was a wonderful get away. Having two separate builds was a plus for the kids. The screen porch was great for morning coffee. Being on the lake was quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommend this place. Looking to come back for more waterfall hiking. ”

“Very private setting and extremely quiet. On dead end road and very little traffic. The small lake is a gem, particularly because there are no motorboats. Access to hiking, including in the Sylvania Wilderness, is a real plus. For folks looking for a true northwoods getaway free from noise, traffic and crowds and surrounded by natural beauty, this place qualifies.”

“The property is just as shown in the photos! Lots of space, great for our 3 generation family and having the option to bring dogs is MUCH appreciated! It's a little off the beaten-path, but within just a few minutes, you have Twin Lakes for a picnic & swim, Krupp's Mini-Mart for last-minute essentials and the Boondock Inn for good bar/grill food and live music! ”

“We only used the upsatirs and really liked the house. Very comfortable with everything you need for your stay. Was absolutely in love with the woodsy backyard to a mostly pine forest. Last night we stayed we had a spike buck come with in 30 yrds of us at the campfire. Super cool to finish off our wonderful stay. Sorry though, didnt take any pictures of the back yard ”

“Spacious and private, clean and comfortable. The lake is beautiful for swimming, boating, and fishing. Easy access to lots of hiking trails and other nearby attractions, great home base for anything you want to do in the western UP. Great communication from the owner with check in/ out instructions and comprehensive guide to the area that was sent ahead of time. We were there just as a family of 4 but there was plenty of space for larger groups ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Anglers Cove property. The house was clean and we had plenty of room to spread out. The host communicated well and was very responsive. Access to the lake was great, we enjoyed listening to and watching the birds, in particular the two eagles in the area. The location was also ideal for excursions to the Porcupine Mountains and various other local hikes. Be sure to read all the house policies.
