“My friend and I came up to do some biking on the C&O and western Maryland rail trail, and to also do some hiking! Weather was perfect and the cozy cabin fit all our needs perfectly!. Very cutely decorated…Clean…Beautiful views. The host even invited us for dinner one night if we wanted to join them! Check in was easy and there was even a few snacks and waters provided. All very thoughtful gestures. We were warned that there was a two mile stretch of rougher road leading up to the cabin but……

“This house was such a peaceful escape. The setting is super rural and quiet, with a beautiful river, creek, and even waterfalls right outside. It felt like something out of a fairytale. I spent so much time on the screened-in porch swing under the fairy lights and vines, it quickly became my favorite spot to unwind.The upstairs bathroom was gorgeous, and the whole place just had this calm, grounding energy. I saw so many birds during my stay and even a little toad hopping around one evening,……

“We wanted a quiet getaway and that’s exactly what we got. We like Hedgesville’s proximity to Berkeley Springs, Harpers Ferry and Winchester, VA. Hedgesville itself doesn’t have a lot going on - a few independent restaurants & shops, a Martin’s grocery store. If you’re looking for Walmart or chain restaurants, there are plenty in nearby Martinsburg. This visit for us, though, was all about staying in and enjoying the woods around us.
