“This is the second time I’ve stayed at the Cozy Cabin. I just wanted to get away for reading and accomplished my goal! I love that there isn’t a TV, but there is WiFi. The fridge is great capacity and the microwave and oven are perfect. There is a grocery store less than 15 minutes away if you’re like me and just want to stay in. Barbara and John leave a great welcome message. I’ll be staying here again when I want a quiet getaway! ”

“We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. We were so LUCKY it was available. The price was reasonable and we could immediately check in. So easy! Thank you to the host family who has placed this location on……

“Freundliche, familiäre, gemütliche Ferienwohnung am Südrand von Ellsworth, trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Walmart, Hannaford) in wenigen Minuten mit Auto erreichbar. Bis zum Acadia NP etwa 15 Minuten. Wohnung ist mit allem (außer Spülmaschine) ausgestattet, Waschmöglichkeit im Erdgeschoß (Garage). Trotz herbstlicher Kühle am Abend haben wir den Gasgrill gerne und viel genutzt. James ist ein überaus freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. ”

“The house was great and well appointed! We had everything we needed. We especially loved the fire pit and ping pong table. It was the perfect size for a family of 6 plus one dog. The distance to Acadia was a bit longer than we expected -- only 25 miles or so but this translated to 45 mins to an hour - depending on the time of day. ”

“Loved our stay at Cabin Beaver! Cannot say enough good things about our stay. We went into the week expecting a great time but this place exceeded all of our expectations. “We stayed one night - January 26. I came up from Boston with my adult child who had to take a training at the Maine Maritime Academy in Castine. Being January, everything in Castine was closed - no hotels, nothing. this was the next closest place. I was very pleased. THe room was pristine. Looks like brand new carpet and flooring. The room and bathroom were immaculate. THe beds were very comfortable and the towels were of high quality. ”
