“I had a great stay at the Peaceful Getaway in Sedgwick. Listing was just as described. Very cute and clean tiny home with everything an individual or couple might need. Beautiful spot to relax, and close to Blue Hill and other wonderful areas. (I recommend a walk through the Harriman Point Preserve in nearby Brooklin.) Check-in process was great, and although the main house is nearby it felt very private. I highly recommend this spot. ”

“Was enough for a one night stay. View of the mountain and close to Acadia National park. The cottage is listed to sleep three and it only sleeps two. That needs to be fixed in the websites description. ”

“We had some issues upon check-in with the propane. They got it all sorted very quickly and were kind about the whole situation. The view is spectacular and area is peaceful. My kids were in awe of the amount of fish they caught right off the dock. The house is very well stocked with all you’d possibly need. We would stay there again! ”

“This was the perfect cozy cottage for a stay before heading to Acadia. It was clean, well-stocked, and had charming decor. The host was very kind and welcoming. The cottage is situated on a beautiful, quiet property with a view of Cadillac Mountain in the distance.”

“We had a great stay here! The check in was clear and obvious, everyone was responsive and helped with the minimal questions we did have and the place was incredible. The waterfront view is beautiful and we got great sunsets every night. The house had everything we needed and my fiancé even liked the bed so much she’s thinking of replacing ours at home! Would recommend and would stay again. ”

“Rustic, tranquil cabin with a beautiful sunset over the lake. It was a great place to relax after spending the day at Acadia.”

“Peaceful, relaxed, beautiful, rustic. It’s a cabin on a lake with the essentials plus WiFi. We all loved it. Especially the firepit and watching the moon come up over the lake. Our host was very responsive and helpful. It was all we needed or wanted!”

“This property had everything we needed for a weeks stay. It was close to many of the places we wanted to visit. Hosts were lovely people who answered questions promptly, and even let us borrow a cooler of theirs for a day trip, since we arrived by plane. Would recommend”

“We love to support small farms when we travel and this was a convenient location in between our plans in Portland and Acadia. The cottage is at the top of the hill with panoramic views. We woke up to thick fog which blanketed the scenery in clouds and made for scenery which we don't often get to see. The cottage is brand new and very clean and comfortable. We were sad we only stayed one night. The driveway is a bit steep and not paved. Our SUV handled it fine but a smaller car may have a bit of……

“This cottage was PERFECT! We loved that they had everything we needed for our stay, even a cooler to take for picnics in Acadia. The views were so pretty and so great to wake up to. The property manager was easy to correspond with and prompt at responding. We would highly recommend this rental. ”

“Everything was great except one thing, communication. I attempted to add a night to our stay before our arrival. VRBO would only allow me to send messages to Vacasa. I asked how to pay and got no response for several days. When I called I was told someone else had already booked the night despite me being ready to pay and having a message back and forth. Otherwise we came, we saw, we conquered. ”
