After the long drive up from Brooklyn, our granddaughters were delighted to find the front parlor filled with toys and games.With family in both Blue Hill and Little Deer Isle, the house was perfectly located. The only disappointment was that Bagaduce Lunch was closed while we were there. We'd heard great things about the food there.We look forward to staying at your place in the future!”

“I was surprised it was close to the road but Penobscot quiets down about 8pm so road noise was not an issue. It was a lovely house to stay in.Very comfortable. Easy to get from there to Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle. The walk down to the beach is lovely and the views across the Bay are always interesting as the tide comes in and out.”

“This is a room in a lovely old farmhouse. I thought the description could have been more detailed: I wasn't quite sure what to expect. The room is on the second floor; the bathroom is private but down a short hallway. The property is in the country and very quiet. Restaurants and stores are in Ellsworth, and easy 20-25 minute drive. Hosts are lovely and not intrusive. ”
