“The hotel is sort of in the middle of nowhere in an industrial area not close at all to any tourist attractions. There is also no public transportation in Penang. The room is okay, but every time I try to use hot water for showering or from the sink in the bathroom, I have to let the tap run for at least 10 minutes before the water becomes hot. “Amazing! Very well maintained heritage building. Extremely friendly and helpful staff Uma! They use a pulley to pull luggage to upper floor - fun to watch and practically useful. Complimentary breakfast was tasty. The lunch and drinks at the cafe were also tasty and clean, we enjoyed a lot when hiding from the hot sunshine at noon time. Side note: stairs are steep due to traditional design, maybe challenging for elderly. Expect to take off shoes before going upstairs to room. Not a concern for……
