“Great hotel in the centre of Holmfirth. The food was excellent as we're the staff, they worked so hard and we're always on the go. Only downside was the room was very warm, however there was a fan provided which helped a little bit. Good stay and would stay again. ”

“The hotel actually has two sections on two sides of the bridge. We were expecting to be on the water side but was disappointed. The room only has a small window facing the back of the hotel. Nothing impressive at all. The staffs were not helpful on anything. We were asked by the front desk to go across the bridge to make booking at the hotel restaurant. ”

“Good, solid place. It really is a monastery with large grounds and impressive buildings. Welcome was very friendly and helpful. The property is dated, but in fairly good order. Bed was good. Breakfast was cereal and toast type. I was hoping for full breakfast but was not offered. Mirfield also a nice town/village, just avoid school closing time as very busy”

“Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome.”
